There are dozens of soft tasks you could be taking care of. Updating documentation, code reviews, add some extra tests, whatever the case.

Your company is paying you A LOT of money to get to do what you love to do. They should expect to get a solid 8 hours of work from their employees. Not to mention you are probably part of a team who you are treating unfairly by taking hours off during the workday.
